The Entire Well-known " Vi Howe NEW CHUM Will stand this Season at Tutoko, TVTEW CHUM is now 9 years old, with JAI plenty of power, and a cure foal getter. He was bred by Mr Donald Fraser, Rungitikei, by Tradueer, dam Fair Lass, by Kiddieswurth, grand dam Fair Wave, imported from Sydney. Fair Wave was supposed to be one of the grandest Arab mares ever imported to New Zealand. New Chum has shown his good breeding both on the turf and at the stud. He made his first appearance in Wellington, where he started in a two and-a-half mile race, weight for age, beating Whitefoot, Gazelle, and others. Then went to Napier, where he was beaten by Never Mies by a head, New Chum carrying 211bs over, Never Miss beating Lady Grey and others. Jle then saddled for the Consolation, beating Wairarapa, Lady Grey and Wide awake. Terms, £3 10s each rnare. Two or more marcs, the property of the same owner, as per agreement.
