LONDON COMMERCIAL. Nov. 29. —At the wool sale to-day, 7,800 bales were catalogued. The tone of the auction showed a hardening tendency. Scoured, combing and washed fleece wools are now half-penny to a penny higher than at the close of laat auctions. Washed and scoured crossbreds about Id higher, and greasy crossbreds and good greasy merinos show an advance of half-penny. For new clip wools there is strong competition with a hardening tendency. Parts, Nov. 28. A disastrous fire occurred at Boubaix, in the North of this country. Two large factories were totally destroyed during the conflagration. In view of the possible failures of the negociations which are now proceeding to bring about an amicable settlement of the Tonquin difficulty, active preparations are being made for the immediate despatch of reinforcements to the French army in Annam.
