ANNUAL HOSPITAL FETE.
A glorious morning ushered in St. Andrew’s day, and long before the sports commenced a large number of people began to congregate on the sports ground. Every one seemed in the highest spirits and intent upon enjoying themselves. The whole proceedings passed off without the slightest hitch or unpleasantness. The programme was carried out in its entirety with tne exception of the vaulting match, which fell through for want of a pole. Owing to the absence of Captain Winter, Mr. Nolan was elected starter, and he carried out his duties in such an able and efficient manner as to give the highest satis* faction to every one.
