RESIDENT MAGISTRATES COURT.—GISBORNE.
(Before J. Booth Eeq., R.M.) Saturday. H«ta Nganrupa was brought up charged by tho police with being drunk and dis* orderly on the Sports ground, Makaraka, on Friday. The charge was laid under the 14th section of the Licensing Act. After hearing the evidence his Worship inflicted a fine of £3, or, in default 30 day’s imprisonment. The prisoner was removed in custody. Monday. Drunkknnbbs. Christian Johnston was brought up on the above charge, and fined os.
