For Auckland and Sydney, per Manapouri, on Saturday, November loth, at 7 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Kurope, Asia, Africa. America and Wevt Indie* via San Franeimo, ftt*j the .-Undwioh islands on Friday, December 7th at 3 p.m. Money orders may be obtained and ’otter* registered until 3 p.m. same c’ay. This mail will be due in London on the January 19th, 1884. The next steamer of the Orient Company leaves Melbourne on Nov. 30th. Correspondence specially so addressed and prepaid the Brindisi rates of postage, viz., oightpenoe per half-ounoe, will be forwarded hy Waihora, 1 a ingG sborne on November 16th. This mail will be due in London on January Bth, 1884. Note— -Money orders should be obtained, and letters registered one hour before the time of closing anv Mail. The letter receiving boxes at Mr East’s upper store and Mr McKay's store, are cleared daily at noon ; and one hour before the advertised time of closing seaborne mails at the Post Oliice. On Friday, November 9th, the Prince of Wales’ Birth by. the Post Office will be closed, and the Telegraph Office open only from 9 to 10 a.m. J. 8-iKiMFruM, Chief Postmaster.
