The - Entire Well-known F Horse NEW CHUM Will stand this Season at Tutoko. NEW CHUM is now 9 years old, with plenty of power, and a Hire foal getter. He was bred by Mr Dunuid Era-er, Hangitikei, by Traducer, dam Fair Lass, by Riddieswurtn, grand dam Fair Wave, imported from Sydney. Fair Wave was supposed to be one uf the grandest Arab mares ever imported to New Zealand. New Chum has shown his good breeding both on the turf and at the stud. He made his first appearance in Wellington, where he Blurted in a two and-a-ludf mile race, weight for age, beating Whitefoot, Gazelle, and others. Then went to ..Napier, where he was beaten by Mtver Mies by a head, New Chum carrying 211bs over, Never Miss beating Lady Urey and others, lie then saddled for the Consolation, healing Wairurapu, Lady Grey and Wide awake.
