Naw Chum has shown his good breeding both on the turf and at the stud. He made his first appearance in Wellington, where he started in a two and-a-h»l£ mile race, weight for age, beating Whitefoot, Gazelle, and others. Then went to Napier, where he was beaten by Never Miss by a head, New Chum carrying 211bs over, Never Miss beating Lady Grey and others.
