Mr Alfred Buckland reports that there is no material alteration in iast week’s produce report (September 28th). Fodder has fully maintained its value, good quality selling from 5s fid to 7« per cwt; maize, 2s lid to 3s 3d ; oats, 2s 8d- Horse stock have been yarded in full numbers, and were in steady demand. Good medium draughts varying from £23 to £2O each. At the hide an? stem sale on Tuesday there was an improved enquiry for hides. Prices ranged from 2gd to 3sd ; tallow varied a good deal in quality and ranged from 24s 6d to 31s 6d per cwt • sheepskins, ls6d to 4s 2d each; lambskins,’ id, At Pukekohe on Monday last there was a large muster of store cattle, and quiet cows were in demand at moderate rates, but young cattle largely maintained their late prices. At Remuera on Thursday, dairy 0 .title were at late rates .- st< re cattle better maintained, and fat cattle, in full numbers, fuliy sustained last week’s values, averaging -6s the lOOlbs; sheep were in unusually short supply, and advanced 3s each ; lambs were in full number but good enquiry, and ranged from 14s to 18s each, but 1.50 lambs averaged 14s each.
