Chot Post Offici, Gisborne Foi Auckland, per Southern Cross, on Thursday, Oct. 4th, at 9 a.m. For Napier, Wellington aud South, also the Australian Colonies, per Manapouri, on Friday, October Sth, at 3.80 p.m. For Auckland, per Te Anau, on Saturday, Oct. 6th, at 7 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, America and West Indies via San Francisco, also the Sandwich Islands, on Friday, 6th Oct. at 3 p.m. Manov orders may be obtained and letters registered until 2 p.m. same day. This mail will be due in London on the 19th Nov. 1883. The next steamer of the P. and 0. Company leaves Melbourne on Oct. 26th. Corres t x)ndenoe specially so addressed and prepaid the Brindisi rates of pot? .age, viz., eightpence per half-ounce, will be forwarded by every opportunity. Note—Money orders should be obtained, and etter registered one hour before the time of closing any Mail. The letter receiving boxes at Mr East's upper store and Mr McKay’s store, are cleared daily at noon ; and one hour before the advertised time of closing seaborne mails at the Post Office. J.
