A meeting of the Melbourne Presbytery tvas held to-day, Dr Morrison tabled a motion, declaring that a resolution be passed J* the members of Scott’s Church at a meeting held last Wednesday, deciding to secede from the Presbyterian Church of Victoria, and revert to the position previous to the act of union, was irregular and ultra vtdei. The following scratchings were posted today for the Melbourne Cup -Libeau, Doncaster and Maid of the Hills.
