ARRIVALS. September, 19 -Tiiaroa, from Auckland. DEPARTURES. September. 19—Taiaroa, s.s., Captain Paraons, for South. Passengers—Messrs Locke, Fiyger, and Cambell. The tr. 8.8. Southern Cross is expected from South this morning. The Manapouri will arrive from Auckland to-morrow about noon. The schooner Gisborne ia lying high and dry undergoing a fresh coat of paint. The schooner Waiapu, Captain Nicholas, is ready to proceed North when the weather permits. The Gisborne, schooner, Captain Skinner, fs notified to sail for the Coast and Auckland on Saturday, the 22nd inst. The schooner Awaroa, Captain Holmes, arrived early yesterday morning with a cargo of timber consigned to Mr R. Houlden from Foxton. She is discharging at the wharf. The schooner Elibank Castle, Captain Grant, arrived in the Bay early yesterday morning. She brings a cargo of coals for Mr H. E. Johnston from Napier. The Taiaroa arrived in the Bay about 1 o’clock yesterday from Auckland, but was not tendered till nearly 4 o’clock on account of the tide, which was too low for the Snark to get out. She sailed in the evening for Southern ports.
