ARRIVALS. September, 17th—Manapouri, b.s., Captain Logan, from southern ports with the following passengers :—Mesdames R. Cooper, Bosket and family, Pepper, Messrs Cooper, Shaw, Skilion, Skewbald, Alyges, Brunskill, and Doyle. Misses Williams, Meako and E. Sutton, DEPARTURES. September. 15—Taiaroa, s.s. for Auckland, with the following passengers—Miss Shakespeare. Messrs F. Steele, L. Steele, Morris and Henry. The Taiaroa left Auckland about six o’clock last night for this port, and may be expected to-morrow. The Southern Crons is expected to leave Napier about Wednesday next. If so |she may be looked for here on the day following, Thursday. The Manapouri arrivedfduly from Meh bourne and southern ports yesterday morning, leaving about noon the same day for Auckland. The schooner Gisborne, Captain Skinner, arrived in the Bay from Auckland and the Coast about 4 o’clock on Saturday afternoon last, with a cargo of bricks, 5220 feet of timber, 1096 pipes, and sundry other goods. The schooner Waiapu, Captain Nicholas, now lying in the river, is prepared to start for the Coast and Auckland at any moment. MOVEMENTS OF U.S.S. CO.’S STEAMERS. For Melbourne via Southern ports—Wairarapa, Friday, 21st. For Napier, Wellington A Dunedin—Taiaroa Wednesday, 19th. For Auckland—Waihora, Sunday, 23rd inst. For Sydney via Auckland — Ringarooma, Sunday, 30th inst.
