LANDS PURCHASED AND LEASED FROM NATIVES IN THE NORTH ISLAND.
In a return presented to both Houses of the General Assembly, is given a list of lands purchased aud leased in the North Island under “ The Immigration and Public Works Act, 1870,” or Acts amending the same, showing areas and expenditure to 31st of Alarch, 1883; the blocks that have been declared waste lands of the Crown, and from which we give those blocks situate in Poverty Bay district which are as follows, giving the name of block, number of acres purchased or leased, through whom negotiated, payments for the same, and date of deed ;—Aluugaotawhito, No. 2 Block, 148 a 2r, through T.
