HORSE & CARRIAGE BAZAAR.

Masonic Livery Stables. PROPRIETOR, B. 0. FRYER. We had much pleasure in paying the above premises a visit yesterday, and found that the Bazaar offered greater facilities for accomodation than any other place of the same description in the Bay. There are eight or ten fine commodious loose boxes y fitted up with every convenience, well closed and thoroughly furnished with every neces. sary appointment, consistent with cleanliness, ventilation and safety. There is a fine long dry shed just constructed, of corrugated iron, roomy enough to hold all the traps of Gisborne, in which is stood vehicles of all sizes and descriptions. This accommodation will be found especially convenient and acceptable to those who wish to put up their buggies for a time. By this addition to Mr Fryer’s premises, traps will be perfectly protected from the destructive influences of the scorching and blistering sun on the one hand, and the soddening and rotting properties of the wet on the other. The accommodation for animals is sufficient to meet all the requirements of the town, and having in his employ only men of the highest competency ana anility in this « particular line, all horses entrusted to him will meet with an amount of care and attention it is impossible to meet with in any other stable in this place. Having added a number of new traps, saddlery and harness of newest designs and latest patterns, combined with some of the best cattle in the district. Mr Fryer is now in a position to provide traps, buggies, Ac., turned out in a cleaner and better condition than any other place in the Bay, at a price I'ruly astonishing because of its moderation. As another example of Mr Fryer’s enterprise, he now’ intends to hold weekly Saturday sales by public auction of horses, stock, vehicles, &c., for which his premises have been specially adapted. As he is a thoroughly competent judge, and will conduct the whole of his business himself, and thus save much expense, it must be evident to all that it will be greatly to the advantage of sellers to sell through him, and buyers to buy through him, as on the one hand a confsiderable expense will be saved and immediate returns ensured, and on the other hand buyers will have the advantage of benefitting by his experience and direct dealing. We are confident that, in the future as in the past, Mr Fryer’s enterprise and business qualities will ensure him that amount of generous support which he so rightly deserves.
