SEPTEMBER, Ist—’Wairarapa, Chatfield, for Auckland Passengers—Rose, Gordon, Rev. J. Pinfold Campbell, and G. L. Sunderland. Ist—Ringarooma, Carey, for South. Passengers—Messrs Finn, Proffitt, Cuff, Hurston, R. G. Gibbons, E. J. Pearcy, and J. Martin. Misses Williams, Davidson, Gannon, and Mrs Newman.

The Omapere is expected to arrive from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Napier, to«day. She will then proceed on to Auckland. The Taiaroa may be looked for about Wednesday from Auckland and Tauranga. She will sail the same day for the South. The last boat leaves the wharf at 10 o’clock in the morning. The Government steamer Stella, arrived in port yesterday, for the purpose of taking away the cannon, belonging to the J Battery. The Southern Cross will probably arrive on Wednesday next. The schooners Gisborne, and Waiapu, owned by Captain J. Skinner, are now daily expected from Auckland and the Coast. The s.s. Rosina, and Schooner Elibank Castle, did not leave port last evening.
