Mr Wm Ratcliffe has been elected creditors’ trustee in the bankrupt estate of R. G. Gibbons, senr. Tenders are called by the Borough Council for removing and altering the old fire-engine shed, and also for the formation and shingling of Aberdeen road. On the fourth page will be found the following “ Resident Magistrate’s Court “ Sporting News ;” “ Bromley’s Bankruptcy “Shelter Trees for Cattle The Ageut-General’s Letter,” and other items of interest. Mails for Tauranga and Auckland, per Omapere will close to-night (Saturday), at 7 p. m. We hear that upon Bromley’s bills of sale being submitted to legal opinion, they were declared to be utterly useless, consequently the whole of the estate will be realised for the benefit of the creditors.
