ARRIVALS, August. 6—Taiaroa, b.b.> from Auckland, with the following passengers —Messrs Fiddler and Flicker. 6 —Waihora, s.s., from the south with the following passengers—Mesdames Smith and family, Evenson, Brown, Miss Cole. Messrs Evenson, Stafford, Flyger, Barry, Brown, Boland, Holen, Dufaur, Parakie, McKenzie, Springford, Dixon, Fraser and seven in the steerage. DEPARTURES. August. 6—Waihora, s.s., Captain Edie for Auckland. Passengers—Messrs Bloomfield, Dunlop, McHugh, Tidmarsh. Misses Burton, Dunlop, Hamilton, Maloney, and Mrs Alexander.
An Auckland paper says The schooner Agnes Donald, Captain Bradley, which went ashore at Gisborne about a month ago, and was subsequently got off, arrived in harbor to-day. She does not appear to have sustained any serious injury. The Wairarapa arrived from Melbourne and southern ports yesterday morning. The Taiaroa, from Auckland, arrived yesterday about half-past ten. She sailed the same day for south.
