For the Conservation of Rivers within the County of Cook, or any District duly constituted therein. 2. For the appointment of Boards of Conservators. 3. For the regulation thereof. 4. To give power to such Boards, or any of them, to rate all lands within their respective districts in proportion to the liability to damage to which such lands are exposed : to borrow money : to levy special rates : to classify lands liable to damage. A copy of this Bill has been deposited and may be inspected at the Resident Magistrate’s Courts, Gisborne and Tologa Bay.
