HARBOR BOARD.
Tho' Council then resolved itself into a special meeting of the Harbor Board to consider the question of wharf contracts. It appears that the contract or on his arrival hero had inspected the plans, and found sundry piles, &c., marked down in the original plan which had never appeared in the Auckland copy. He wished the point settled at once no that be could get the wood on the ground. It was finally decided that the contractor be bound by the copy of the plans and specifications he had signed. The matter was to be arranged.
