The s.s. Rotomahani, Captain Chatfield, is expected to arrive to-day from Auckland. On account of the heavy weather the s.e. Southern Cross did not arrive in I* spier till yesterday morning, thus putting off her arrival here until to-day. The schooner Gisborne, Captain Skinner, which sailed from this port for Auckland via the Coast, had to return when at Awanui on account of the heavy state of the weather. She put in here early on Thursday, and departed for the same porta early yesterday morning. The schooner Agnes Donald, Captain J. Bradley, was towed out of the river yesterday morning, and is now lying at anchor in the Bay waiting for an opportunity to sail for Auckland. She has a cargo of general stores. •The steam launch Snark did not leave last nfght for the Coast as previously notified. The arrival of two steamers to-day, which ehe'will have to tender, and the inclemency of the weather, prevented her so doing.
