The Southern Cross arrived in port from ■ Auckland at daylight yesterday morning ; with 24 tons cargo. She left the same day • for the south. The Taiaroa arrived in the bay yesterday . at 10 a.m. from the south with about 50 tons of general cargo. She sailed again after a short stay for Auckland. The ketch Agnes Martin, Captain Nicolas, arrived from Auckland via the coast on Tuesday evening last with a cargo of timber. , She is now lying alongside tho wharf ready to discharge.
