We give the following receipt for the benefit of special sufferers under the Prohibition Act Sulphate of iron, five grains ; magnesia, ten graine ; peppermint Water, els’. en drachms; spirit of nutmeg, one drachm—doee to bo taken twice a day. Thia preparation seta as a tonic and stimulant, ana a* such supplies the place of the accustomed liquor, and prevents that absolute physical and moral prostration that follows a sudden breaking off from the uh of stimulating drinks.
