Subject “ Paul’s Life and its Lessons,” COOK COUNTY COUNCIL IVr OTICE is hereby given that the Cook County Council, will on or about the 26th day of July, 1893, proceed to make a Special Order to the effect that all existing Bye-Laws of the Council be repealed, and the following substituted :— BYE-LAW I—Regulates the proceedings of the Council. BYE-LAW 2—Regulates the duties of persons connected with Public or Private Slaughter-houses ; fixes the fees to be paid for Licenses ; provides for the inspection and periodical clean ing of Slaughter-houses. BYE-LAW 3—Regulates the conduct of persons trading as a Pedlar or Hawker and fixes the License fees to be paid. BYE-LAW 4—ls to regulate the conduct of Pounds aud Poundkeepers ; fixes the fees to be pai l, and provides for the due preservation of cattle impounded, BYE-LAW 5 — Provides that certain Drays shall only carry a limited weight. BYE-LAW 6—Provides that pigs and Goats shall not be allowed to stray upon the County Roads. Copies of these Bye-laws may be seen at the following places :— Cook County Council office, Gisborne.
