Mesdames Gour, Baker, Orr and two Natives. DEPARTURES. Jm. 10—Wairarapa, Captain Chatfield fo ? Auckland. Passengers — Mrs Broughton* Mrs Von Pein, Mrs Nairn. Mies Jones' Messrs King, McPherson, 3 natives and 3 Chinamen. . . 10—Taiaroa, Captain Hansby for south. Passengers—Messrs Honor, Durston and Mogridge. The schooner Columbia, Captain Conway, arrived in the Bay yesterday morning with a cargo of 40,000 feet of timber consigned to J. B. Morgan and Co. The s.s. Suva arrived in the Bay at six o'clock yesterday morning, and brought up in the worst possible position, where she was rolling and pitching about in a most extraordinary manner. She sailed again at 12 noon the same day for Oamaru direct. The Wairarapa arrived at 6.30 a.m. on Sunday morning from Melbourne via South. The Tairoa arrived at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning from Auckland. She was 26J hours coming down. The Columbia, schooner, arrived in the Bay on Monday morning from Mercury Buy with timber for Mr Morgan. The ketch Agnes Martin, Captain Nicolas, from Poverty Bay and East Coast Ports arrived in Auckland on Tuesday the oth inst. with the following cargo—lo 4 bags potatoes, 48 pigs, and a quantity of sundry cargo.
