GISBORNE DISTRICT LICENSING COMMIT TEE.
I'he Gisborne Licensing District Committee met at Makaraka on Saturday last, Mr W King being in lhe chair, supported by Messrs P. Barrie, W. S. Greene, T. Wright, and Melville Smith, lhe following trans fers were granted : — Sir George Grey Hotel, from Geo. Burnand to W. D. Burnand. Rose land Hotel from J. R. Scott to S. Stevenson. The renewals were as follows :— Roseland Hotel, to S. Stevenson ; Sir George Grey Hotel to William D. Burnand ; Matawhero Hotel to D. Diuau. Waerenga-a-hika Hotel, to W, Cooper. Chandos Hotel to M. Hogan. Ormond Hotel, to J. Clements. Kaiteratahi Hotel, to Mr A. Peter*. ft was decided that for the future no temporary licenses should be issued except under the direction aud approbation of the Inspector The renewal ot the licence for the Roseland Hotel was only granted for 11 o’clock.
