Skinner, which left here on the 30th March, arrived in Auckland on Wednesday last, at 6 p.m., having experienced a rough passage, The schooner Columbia is at present anchored in the Bay, windbound. The little steamer Fairy has been compelled to put back on account of the northeast wind which has been blowing so severely lately. The ketch Lucy James left Napier yesterj day, for this port, with a full cargo of timber, which is intended to go towards the erection of the English Church parsonage. The Union Company’s Arawata left Auckland yesterday, aud should arrive here about noon to-day. She will leave for Southern Forts and Melbourne, in the evening. The Union Company's Omapere will not arrive here to-day, as previously notified, as the has been detained. She will leave this port to-morrow (Sunday), for Tauranga and Auckland, MOVEMENTS OF U.S.S. CO.’S STEAMERS. For Melbourne via Southern Porta—Arawata, This day (Saturday), 14th April For Auckland via Tauranga—Omapere, tomorrow (Sunday), 15th April. For Sydney via Auckland—Rotomahana, (to-morrow) Sunday, April 15th. For Auckland and Russell—Rotomahana, tomorrow (Sunday), 15th April. For Napier, Wellington, A Dunedin—Taiaroe, Monday, 16th April.
