The schooner Gisborne, Captain J» IL Skinner, left for the C o’clock having on board Mr- Stagpoole, and four natives as passengers. The 8.8. Taiaioa left Napier a 6 o’clock on Wednesday night, arriving here about daylight on Thursday morning, with 35 tons of cargo. She left the same morning for Auckland via Tauranga, with 200 sheep, A. C. Arthur; 52 bags grass seed, G.P.B. &Co.; 20 bags grass seed, A. Peters, and 4 cs fruit. The schooner Lucy James arrived in the Bay late last night. She brings no cargo as the weather was too rough to permit of her calling in at any of ports along the Coast. From what we can learn has had a rough time of it since leaving hi re, being eighteen days, with bad weather the whole of the voyage, The Manapourl will arrive heie on Sunday morning. On Monday the Taiaroa will arrive from Auckland via Tauranga. The Tarawera arrived about 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, with 4 tons of cargo, from Auckland. She sailed last night for South. The schooner Orpheus was busily engaged discharging her cargo of timber, and Mr T. E. R. Bloomfield’s furniture, a Thursday last. Yesterday she was taking in grass seed, shipped by Mr H. E. Johnstone, for Napier. She may leave at any moment.
