TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Will you be good enough to inform me who are the sureties for the due performance ot the Oxenhfim Contract, in its relations to the Borough of Gisborne and the County of Cook ? The way in which the roads are being gravelled is hardly, I should say, in accordance with the terms of any reasonable contract. —I am &c., Enquirer. Gisborne, 30th March, 1883.
