BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—{COPYRIGHT.) [riuter’b telegrams], LONDON, Feb. 16. Harington, Secretary of the Irish National League, has been arrested under wu*rant> and imprisoned. News has been received here of a serious affray at Ibo Island, one of the Querimba Group, off the Mozambique Coast, between the natives and French labor agents. The former attempted to ship a cargo of labourers to a neighbouring French Colony, and firearms were used on both sides, many being killed and wounded. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2.200,000 quarters. The debate on the speech from the Throne was continued in the House of Commons today, the Radical and Tory leaders severely critici-ing the Egyptian policy of the Go* vernment. The Tories displayed obstructive tactics during the debate, and prevented the introduction of the Affirmation Bill. Tho debate was adjourned until Monday. NEW YORK, Feb. 17. Seventy persons have been buried in a colliery in Illinois State, owing to the falling in of a portion of the roof of the working.
