With reference to the advent of the visitors to Gisborne with a view to consider the financial position of the Southern Cross Petroleum Company we may record the fact that the gentlemen who arrived here on Sunday last from the South, proceeded to the South Pacific Oil Springs on Monday last, and returned yesterday evening. The party express their entire satisfaction with their visit, but state they will refrain from enpressing an opinion until they furnish a full report.
