If elected I shall work strongly against any proposition for any works, or appropriation of public money, that may tend in any way to further private interests ; and against any outlay in the formation of roads where the funds will not allow of them being finished, as I know from experience that such formations are nothing more than a waste of public money. I shall always advocate any feasible plan for any water supply, and also any sanitary scheme that will improve tho healthiness of the town.
