Money ordere may be obtained and letters registered until 2p m. same day. This mail will be due in London on the 9th April, 1883. The mail which left London on December 28th, 1382, via San Francisco, is due at Gisborne an Friday, February Oth. .... A steamer of the Peninsular and Oriental line leaves Melbourne on 15th Feb. Correspondence specially so addnased and prepaid the Brindisi rates of postage, via., eightpence per half-ounce, will be forwarded by every opportunity. On and after the Ist January, 1888, a port office will be opened at Mr Steven’s store. Patutahi; also at Mr J Wallace'e, Matawhero. Mails close at Gisborne on Tuesday and Friday, at noon J. SniMnwr, Chief Postmaster.
