The Waerenga-a-hika tea meeting, in aid of the school building fund, will not be held on the 31st of January as previously announced, but on the "th of February next. It is estimated that when the Sydney Town Hall is completed it will have cost at least £200,000, or about £2 per head of the total population of the city. Mr F. Fox desiires that when persons wish to purchase lands from Native residents on the East Coast, they will come themselves, and not bring agents with them, as the Natives do not wish to be bamboozled.
