This Day, Gibson, the Town Clerk of Dunedin, has arrived here, and is enquiring into the alleged frauds in connection with the municipal bonds. So far as is known there is no reason to believe that further frauds have been committed beyond those already brought to light. Intelligence has been received that the Wangilogong Gold Mine is flooded. The men who were at work at the time of the influx succeeded in escaping, and no loss of life has occurred.
