New Adelaide wheat quoted at 465, The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,300,000 quarters, an advance of 70,000 quarters since the Sth inst. Australian tallow has advanced 6d to Is; best beef quoted at 43s ; best mutton, 455. The wool market is decidedly firmer. The arrival to date for next auctions amount to 80,000 bales. January 13. The Duehess of Connaught has given birth to a son to-day. A plot to assassinate the chief police officers of Dublin has been discovered, and twenty persons charged with complicity in the conspiracy, have been arrested. The prisoners were brought up at the Dublin Police Court to-day, and remanded for a week. Several of them are suspected of being concerned in the Phrenix Park and other murders.
