BEN ALLAH.
Last evening Ben Allah gave his second performance at Messrs Parnell and Boylan’s Hall. There was certainly not such a good audience as the merits of the performers deserved. In justice to Ben Allah we can only say that the entertainments given by him during his brief stay in Gisborne far excels in novelty and variety and gave more general satisfaction than any similar entertainment yet given in this town. Ind»oJ. it 4->ubtf u i if there is a more talented performer now travelling in the Colony. Ben Allah introduces all the newest, novelties. The great Indian box trick is well worthy of notice, and the ventriloquial part of the entertainment was exceedingly well rendered, the two dolls performing their part to perfection. The sailor boy caused a great sensation, and the manner in which this little gentleman performed on light fantastic toe was something wonderful. The dove trick was as good as ever, and as it is really very well done we regret that there were not more present to witness it. Ben Allah, we may state, leaves by steamer for South to-day.
