This Day. CBefore M. Price, Esq., R.M.] There were no criminal cases for hearing this morning. Civil Cases. hank or new south wales v, itußitr. Mr Ward for the plaintiff, Mr Hrassey for defendant. Mr Ward applied for an adjournment, seeing that the matter was still »ul> judiee. Mr Brassey objected. Tiie Resident Magistrate adjourned the case to 6th February next. COMMON, SHELTON AND CO. V. ROBERT AUSTIN. Claim on four promissory notes, amounting to £4O 2s. Mr Nolan for plaintiff. Mr Nolan called Mr Shelton, who proved the case. Judgment for full amount claimed, and costs £3 95., including solicitor's fee. WHINRAY V. DRUMMOND. Claim £5 Is (id, balance of account for goods sold and delivered. Plaintiff proved the case and judgment was given for the full amount and costs. The Court then adjourned.
