MELBOURNE, Deo. 27. -C*- match was commenced yesterday at fAllarat between the Hon. Ivo Bligh’s English Eleven and a team representing the Ballarat district. The home team went in first, and were all disposed of for a total of 226. The match was continued to-day, and when the stumps were drawn the visitors had scored 269 for the loss of nine wickets. The Intercolonial match between Victoria reales was resumed here to-day. The home team with one wicket down and six runs to their credit, continued their second innings, and at the conclusion of the day’s play had scored 332 runs with four wickets yet to fall.
