THAMES, This Day. • A serious accident occurred yesterday morning, on the road from Te Arolia to a young man named John Davis, while riding a horse he was thrown over the bridge. He was brought by steamer to the Thames Hospital. He has been unconscious ever since, and is not expected to survive. He is tha son of a former Baptist Minister at the Thames, DUNEDIN, This Day. W. Drinkwater, charged with attempting suicide by cutting his throat, was discharged.
