The line of Waipiro, Tauherekeke, and thence by the sea to the commencement. * The whole of these lands we have leased to Messrs PORTER & CROFT for the term of 21 Years, and we caution all parties desirous of Renting, or Purchasing, lands, not to pay, or give, any monies to any person, or persons on account of these lands, as it will not be acknowledged by us, and the parties are likely to lose their money, as wo, the rightful owners, have made, and executed, a Deed of Lease of all these Lands to Messrs PORTER A CROFT, that is 150 of us. and no other persons whatever, have any claim on these lands, We have let these Lands, in accordance with Native custom, and we are not willing that the landshall be Surveyed upon the authority, or application, of anyother person, and that we will prevent any such Survey being made on these lands.
