Entrance, 1 eov., on the ground. CONDITIONS. The Poverty Bay Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to, unless where otherwise specified. Qualification to non-members, £1 Is. Members will not be allowed to nominate horses the property of non-members, except by paying £1 I® for each horse, hacks excepted. Three horses to start for each race, or only half the stakes will be paid. Any jockey riding except in colors entered and proper jockey costume (except hacks) will be fined £2 ; and this rule will be strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest shall deposit the sum of £3 with the Stewards, and such protest proving frivolous the amount shall be forfeited to the Club. All protests must be entered within 15 minutes after the race, or the Stewards will not entertain it. No entry shall be received except on these conditions : viz., that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards or Members of the Committee whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles and Boeing Day Handicap must be sent (sealed) to the Secretary, and directed to the Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, not later than 8.30 p.m on SATURDAY, Nov. 25th, 1882, enclosing entrance fee and qualification, name, age, and color of horse. No entry will be received after that time unless by post letter (regie- | tered) or telegram, bearing that or previous date. Acceptances for Handicap Hurdles and Boxing Day Handicap (enclosing colors) on night of general entry at the Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, on Saturday, the 16th December, at 8.30 p.m. The stakes will be paid, less 5 per cent, commission, at the Waerenga-a-hika Hotll, on I Thursday, December 28th, at 8 p.m. | For any match run on the course £2 2s I must be contributed to Race Fund.
