TRUST COMMISSIONER’S COURT.
At the Trust Commissioner’s Court yesterday Mr Price was occupied a great portion of the afternoon in enquiring into the application of Mr John Coleman to have a certificate attached to a certain block of land called “ Apeka, ” containing 17$ acres, ceded under a deed of 1872 to G. E. Read, and which he has since purchased, paying the original purchase money over again. The fact of the original deed, which was signed over again on the occasion of the second payment, being dated 1872} occasioned no small trouble ; the Trust Commissioner having already had sufficient bother over olddeeas to make him
doubly careful over them for the future. There is not the slightest doubt that great care is exercised before the Trust Commissioner will affix his certificate, in these cases especially, There arose some curious features in this case, owing to the age of the document, and the Commissioner after a long investigation decided to affix his signature to the required certificate next Monday.
