[REUTER’S TJCLHORAMS]. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.-(COPYRIGHT.) LONDON, Dec. 3. The Moat Rev. Dr Tait, Archbishop of Canterbury, died last night, aged 71 years. A serious collision occurred in the Channel between the barque Helim, 723 tons, grain laden, from Lyttelton, and the steamer Halsteels, of Newcastle. The barguc sank within ii short time after the collision, and is a total loss, The steamer has put into Plymouth severely damaged. So far as is known no loss of life has occurred. Dec. 4, (Evening). Tho new London Law Courts were opened to-day by Her Majesty the Queen in state. A largo number of notabilities, and an immense concourse of people were present and the proceedings passed off with great eclat. T. H. Healy, M. P. for Wexford, one of the leaders of the Irish National League, has been summoned to find sureties for good behavior. CAIRO, Dec. 2. Arabi pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him, ami the trial was speedily concluded. It is believed that he will be exiled to some English territory. CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 2. Said Pasha has been reinstated Grand Vizier, and Osman Pasha as Minister of War, in succession to Ahmed Vefyk Pasha and Haina Pasha. Arifi Pasha has been appointed to succeed Safit Pasha as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
