This important sale having been announced to take place to-day, a very large number of persons were present at Parnell and Boylan’s Hall. Mr Rees read the conditions of sale for Pouawa, which have been so largely made known that it is unnecessary to repeat them. Mr R. Hill Fisher then proceeded with the sale. fovawa.
; The rest of the sections in the Pouawa were | withdrawn. WAirtor. The next lot was the Waihort block. Mr Rees read the conditions of sale. This lot was sold subject to a mortgage to the Borough Council of £7.50. Mr \V. F. Shaw became the purchaser at £BOO. WHATAUPOKO, After the adjournment Major Pitt, after Mr Rocs had read the conditions of sale, proceeded with the Whataupoko sections.
36 allotments, sub-division of a property, having a frontage to Roebuck and Aberdeen Roads, were next submitted, and several of them were disposed of at prices ranging from £l4 to £lB. The other properties offered were withdrawn.
