Sergeant Bullen applied for a remand to Timaru, The prisoner was remanded for eight days, to be brought up at the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Timaru on the Ist December, or earlier if the steamer arrives before that date. CIVIL cases. There were a few civil cases set down for hearing, but they were either paid into Court or settled.
