HORTICULTURAL AND FLORICULTURAL.
THE following is the Report of the Committee Meeting, held on Wednesday, 22nd November ;—Members present: Messrs H. Bull, -J. C. Taylor, A. J. Croll, W. Tharratt, and W. L. File, secretary. The date of Show was fixed, to be held at McFarlane’s Hall, on Wednesday, December 14th. Several special prizes were promised, and the president and vice-presidont. promised to use their persuasive powers to obtain still more. The subscribers arc responding better than was expected, so that there will be better prizes allotted than was the ease last year. Our professional and amateur gardeners predict a good show of fruit, flowers, anil vegetables, and if the weather remains as favorable as at present, the show is bound to be a great success.
