The Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Annual Meeting.
The annual meeting of the above was held at Mr J. Sunderland's farm at I’atutahi. Owing to the threatening appearance of the weather there was but a small attendance. However, those who did venture had no cause to regret having done so, u,s the weather cleared up during the afternoon, and the sun shone out in all its splendour. In point of number and quality of exhibits the present is the most successful of any yet held. In order to give a full report of the exhibits, prizes, etc., we have decided to hold over until to-morrow the report forwarded to us from our representative on the ground. We do this knowing that in the hurry and bustle consequent upon the judging, it is impossible to avoid falling into some error.
