This testimonial to the gentleman who represents the Electoral District of the East Coast promises to be one of the greatest successes ever witnessed in Proverty Bay, as tickets are being rapidly taken up, and it is expected fully 150 persons will be in attendance. The J Battery Band will play during the evening, under the leadership of Mr Faram, and the hall has been tastefully ornamented with flags. The following is the m nu :— Oyster Soup. Entrees: Fowl and ham pie, pigeon pie. Joints : Roast beef, roast sucking pig, roast lamb, ham and tongues. Poultry: Roast turkey, roast goose, roast ducks, boiled fowls. Sweets: Pound cakes, Swiss rolls, rhu barb tart, currant tart, apple tart, cheese cakes, stewed peaches, stewed apricots, jemon jelly, orange jelly, jelly of wine, German cream, German vinallo, Blanc mange, boiled custard. Dessert in season. Champagne, port, sherry, claret, Australian wines, English beer and stout, Colonial beer, draught and bottled.
