The Aust ralusian in speaking of the Sir Hercules blood remarked : “ No family has gained such a reputation as that which descends from the Colonial-bred Sir Hercules. Then went to Napier, where he was beaten by Never Miss by a head, New Chum carrying 2libs over, Never Miss beating Lady ,Grey I and others.
