(by cable.—reuter’s telegrams). Received Sept. 27, 8.30 p.m. MELBOURNE. Sept. 27. Malting Barley firm at 5s 2d to 5s 4d. Wheat steader, and quoted at 6s lid for shipping. New Zealand Oats firm at 4s to 4s 2d for lading, and 4s 3d to 4s 4d for milling qualities. LONDON, September 23. Consols further advanced to 100*. Adelaide wheat, ex store, remains at 475, and New Zealand ditto, 45s to 475. The market is weak and declining. Adelaide flour, ex store, 345. Australian tallow quiet at 44s 6d for best beef, 46s for best mutton. At the wool sale to-day, 8,800 bales were offered. Market steady but demand not active.
